This Pet Care agreement (the “Agreement”) is made as of ___________________________ between
(Client) for the purpose of this contract may be referred to as “Client”
________________________________ and Kate’s Canine Care (Company).
This agreement covers all pet care services that require the Company to enter the Client’s home, including but not limited to overnight stays, vacation drop-in visits, and dog walking. This agreement is effective from the date it is signed by both parties and will remain in effect until terminated by either party in writing.
1. Service Details
A. Overnight Stays ____
For overnight stays, the Pet Care Company will spend the night in the Client’s home with the pet(s) and provide care as agreed upon in writing between the parties. The Pet Care Company will follow the pet(s)’s regular routine as closely as possible, including feeding, medication administration, and exercise. The Pet Care Company will also ensure that the home is kept tidy, and that the pet(s) have access to food, water, and a comfortable sleeping area.
B. Pup Escapades ____
For pup escapades, the Company will take the pet(s) out of the home for an agreed upon length of time to provide exercise, socialization, and mental stimulation. The Company will ensure that the pet(s) are safe and secure at all times, and will follow any specific instructions or restrictions provided by the Client.
C. Vacation Drop-In Visits ____
For vacation drop-in visits, the Company will visit the Client’s home at agreed upon intervals to provide care for the pet(s). This may include feeding, medication administration, litter box cleaning, and exercise. The Company will also ensure that the home is kept clean and tidy, and that the pet(s) have access to food, water, and a comfortable sleeping area.
D. Dog Walking ____
For dog walking, the Company will take the pet(s) on a walk for an agreed upon length of time and distance. The Company will ensure that the pet(s) are safe and secure at all times, and will follow any specific instructions or restrictions provided by the Client. The Company will also ensure that the pet(s) have access to water and any necessary items such as poop bags or leashes.
2. Property Access
The Client hereby grants permission for the Company to enter the property at the following address:

scheduled times for the purpose of providing the agreed upon pet care services. The Company will use the entry method designated by the Client, such as a key or code, to access the property.
The Client agrees to provide accurate and detailed instructions for accessing the property and any specific requirements for pet care. The Client acknowledges that the Company will not be responsible for any damages caused by the pet(s) to the property or any items therein.
If the Pet Care Company is unable to access the property at the scheduled time due to unforeseen circumstances or incorrect information provided by the Client, the Client will be responsible for finding an alternative solution for the care of their pet(s). If the Pet Care Company is unable to reach the Client Pet Care Company may take reasonable steps to gain access to the property or care for the pet(s). The Client agrees to reimburse the Pet Care Company for any fees incurred for such services.
In the event of an emergency related to the property or the Client’s home and the Pet Care Company is unable to reach the Client the Pet Care Company is authorized to take whatever action is deemed necessary to protect the safety and well-being of the pet(s). This may include calling in professional help, such as a locksmith or plumber at the Client’s expense. The Client agrees to reimburse the Company for any fees incurred for such services.
The Pet Care Company agrees to take reasonable precautions to ensure the security of the property while providing services, such as locking doors and windows when leaving the property. The Client acknowledges that the Company will not be liable for any damages or losses to the property or any items therein caused by any third parties or events beyond the control of the Company.

3. Payment and Refund Policy
- A 25% deposit fee is required upon booking overnight stay services. This deposit fee is refundable provided that the Client cancels within 72 hours of the start of the service date. If the Client cancels less than 72 hours before the start of the service date, the deposit fee will be forfeited.
- Full payment for overnight stays is due at the start of service. The Client may pay by cash, check, or credit card. If payment is not received at the start of service the Client will be subject to late fees.
- Payments for dog walking and pup escapade services are due upon completion of the services. The Client may pay by cash, check, or credit card. If payment is not received at the time of service, the Company reserves the right to refuse future services until payment is received.
- In the event of a disputed charge, the Client agrees to work with the Pet Care Company in good faith to resolve the dispute. The Client acknowledges that chargebacks or disputes filed without first attempting to resolve the issue with the Company may result in the Client being liable for any associated fees or damages.
- The Client agrees to reimburse the Pet Care Company for any expenses incurred for the pet(s) during the provision of pet care services, including but not limited to veterinary care, food, and supplies in the event that Client fails to provide materials necessary for the the Pet Care Company to provide services.
The Client acknowledges that they have read and understood this payment policy and agree to its terms and conditions.
Veterinary Release and Contact Information
In the event of a medical emergency, Kate’s Canine Care is authorized to seek veterinary care for your pet from a licensed veterinarian. If your preferred veterinarian is not available or if the emergency requires immediate attention, Kate’s Canine Care may take your pet to the nearest available veterinarian.
The Client agrees to be responsible for all veterinary expenses incurred during the course of any treatment provided by a licensed veterinarian. The Client also agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Kate’s Canine Care and its employees from any and all liability arising from any veterinary treatment provided to the pet.
If the Client’s preferred veterinarian is not available or if the emergency requires immediate attention, the Client authorizes Kate’s Canine Care to approve any necessary diagnostic tests, treatments, or surgical procedures as recommended by the licensed veterinarian.
The Client understands that Kate’s Canine Care will make every effort to contact them or their designated emergency contact before seeking veterinary care for the pet, but in the event that they are unavailable, the Client authorizes Kate’s Canine Care to make all necessary decisions regarding the pet’s health and well-being.
By signing this agreement, the Client acknowledges that they have read and understood this Veterinary Release section and give their consent to Kate’s Canine Care to seek veterinary care for their pet as outlined in this section.

Liability Waiver
As the client I understand potential harm could occur to my pet while in the hands of Kate’s Canine Care. I agree to release and hold Kate’s Canine Care from all liability including its owner or employees should my pet become lost, injured should my home suffer damage not due to any negligence on Kate’s Canine Care part.
Governing Law:
This Agreement and any disputes arising out of or related to it shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New Jersey, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any legal action or proceeding arising out of or relating to this Agreement shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in New Jersey, and each party irrevocably consents to the jurisdiction of such courts in any such action or proceeding and waives any objection to venue laid therein.
Entire Agreement:
This Agreement constitutes the entire agreement between Kate’s Canine Care (including employees) and the Client and supersedes all prior agreements or understandings, whether written or oral, relating to the provision of pet care services. We reserve the right to terminate this agreement at anytime.
