Kate’s Canine Care Boarding Policy

At Kate’s Canine Care, we prioritize the health, safety, and comfort of your dog.

Please take a moment to review our boarding policy to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience for both you and your pet.

1. Boarding Availability

• One dog per booking: We accept only one dog at a time, unless multiple dogs are from the same household.

• Multiple dogs: If you are booking for more than one dog from the same household, we charge an additional $25 per night for each additional dog.

2. Vaccination Requirements

• All dogs must be up to date on the following vaccinations prior to boarding:

• Rabies

• Distemper

• Bordetella (Kennel Cough)

• Canine Influenza (optional but recommended)

3. Pricing & Payment

• Boarding Rate: $100 per night for the first dog.

• Additional Dogs: $25 per night for each additional dog.

• Deposit: A 25% deposit is required upon booking to secure your reservation. The deposit is non-refundable.

• Balance: The remaining balance is due on the first day of drop-off.

4. Booking & Cancellations

• Reservations should be made in advance, as we only accept one dog at a time (unless from the same household).

• If you need to cancel, please notify us at least 48 hours in advance to avoid a cancellation fee. If the reservation is cancelled less than 48 hours before the drop-off date, the deposit will not be refunded.

5. Drop-off and Pick-up

• Drop-off: Dogs must be dropped off on the scheduled start date of the booking during business hours.

• Pick-up: Pick-up must occur by the scheduled end date. If you need to extend your dog’s stay, please notify us in advance to check availability. (Note– if you need transportation services that include pick up and drop off, please let us know in advance)

6. Additional Services

We offer optional add-on services such as:

• Daily Walks

• Bathing Services

These services are available free of charge, and you may request them at the time of booking or upon drop-off.

7. Health & Safety

We maintain a safe and clean environment for your dog during their stay. If your dog has any special needs or behavioral concerns, please let us know prior to booking.

In the event of illness or injury during the stay, we will promptly notify you and, if necessary, take your dog to the vet at your expense. Please provide us with your vet information and an emergency contact.
