KatesCanineCare Boarding Policy

When an in-home overnight isn't the right fit, boarding lets your dog stay in the care of our team while you're away. This policy explains what we need to keep every boarding stay safe, comfortable and fun.

KatesCanineCare Boarding Requirements

  • A completed meet & greet. Every boarding guest meets us first. Schedule yours here.
  • A signed service agreement. Boarding is covered by our service agreement.
  • Current vaccinations. Please share up-to-date vaccination records before the stay.
  • Flea and tick prevention. Dogs should be on current flea and tick prevention.
  • Honest behavior notes. Tell us how your dog does with other dogs, cats, children and new places.

What to Pack for a KatesCanineCare Boarding Stay

  • Enough food for the whole stay, plus a little extra, with feeding instructions
  • Any medications, labeled with doses and times
  • A collar with ID tags and a leash
  • A bed, blanket or favorite toy that smells like home
  • Your veterinarian's information and an emergency contact

Health and Safety at KatesCanineCare

Your dog's wellbeing comes first. If your dog shows signs of illness before a stay, please let us know so we can decide together whether boarding is the right choice. If a health concern comes up during the stay, we'll contact you and your veterinarian right away. Throughout the stay you'll get daily updates and photos.

Booking a KatesCanineCare Boarding Stay

Boarding dates fill quickly around holidays, so reach out early. We'll confirm availability, rates and any deposit when you book. Would your pets rather stay home? Our in-home overnight stays might be a better fit.
